Henri, together with his colleague Jan Dirk van de Bijl, passionately shares the story behind the creation of the software. “DROMEC originally started as a manufacturing company specializing in custom winch and drive systems. For some time now, we’ve been working on a reliable software package that plays an indispensable role in DROMEC’s internal processes. The result? Thanks to insightful data, we’re growing into a strong market leader.”

Jan Dirk van de Bijl, also a full-stack developer, adds:

ERP System

At DROMEC, the entire team uses the ERP system, which supports everyone in their daily work. The process begins as early as the first point of contact with the customer. The system makes it clear who is responsible for each part of the project, and this information can be updated in real-time by anyone. This organizes internal communication so that all developments can be promptly shared externally with customers. Team feedback helps fine-tune the system and improve its quality. Henri Bunt reflects: “We’re at a point where we’re asking ourselves: could this ERP system also help other companies?”

DROMEC’s current software platform provides a vast repository of data that employees draw from daily. The combination of advanced technical expertise and the existing database opens up endless possibilities for new projects. The ERP system contains an extensive catalog of specially developed winch and drive systems. With its advanced search functionality, DROMEC can devise solutions for virtually any new request.

We also work very closely with certified body’s as DNV, GL, BV, ABS, Lloyds so your winches and systems can be completely certified at our own company together with you.

It often starts with a good idea, preferably on a piece of scrap paper. After an initial consultation, we prepare one or more proposals, including a target price and preliminary drawing. Your idea or problem, always remains central in this. If the feeling on both sides is good, we start. Thanks to our own inhouse developed and written project software, your project stays in the picture and under control from start to finish, including the planning and delivery time.
