A  tailor made winch control for every application

In order for a winch to work as desired by the customer, appropriate control is required. For simple and/or low-power winches, a relay control can often suffice. However, if it concerns higher powers or high dynamic behavior is desired, then a control based on a frequency controller is a must.
Properties such as overload protection, speed control, Constant Tension, Active Heave/Heave Compensation, etc. are daily business for Dromec.
In addition to the user-friendliness of the control, the provision of information from the system to the user / operator is also very important. To guarantee all these functions, Dromec has developed its own software platform in which data such as force, torque, speeds, length measurement, system status, alarm messages, etc. are displayed by means of graphical full color (touch) screens, whereby the customer can determine how the data is displayed and even can add own company logo.
The systems can be operated easily by means of so-called “hand-held transmitter” (wired or wireless) and all necessary information is clearly legible. Pendants and foot switches are also available in all possible versions. Dromec develops and builds customer-specific controls completely tailormade to the application of the winch. In addition, our standard relay controls up to 7.5kW and frequency-controlled controls up to 2.2kW are usually available from stock. The engineering, construction and programming of all our controls takes place entirely in-house.

Thanks to our own inhouse developed and written project software, your project stays in the picture and under control from start to finish, including the planning and delivery time.
